FOLLOW THE LORD’S PATTERN: FORGIVE
JESUS CHRIST is our pattern: He came Heaven to earth to heaven, each time by way of crisis!
Humbling preceded blessing.
It is encouraging to know that Jesus, through what he did, through his own “crisis”, and his own act of humility, overcame all
Christ is in us, and because of that reality, we can overcome our situations too, because of the INDWELLING POWER OF THE SPIRIT.
It is important to note, that while Jesus was on the cross suffering, he extended an attitude of forgiveness: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” It was this forgiveness that has opened up heaven to us.
This same principle holds true for us in our action toward others. Forgiveness opens, unforgiveness closes. The spirit of unforgiveness will be communicated from your spirit toward others and will close them off to you. Always leave with forgiveness toward everyone.
Don’t sow the seeds of the past into new fields of relationships.
Once you have left, leave the opinions of others behind. Whether good or bad, don’t try to plant past experiences into the fresh soil of a new place or person.
